Wingfoil Beginners Course: Part 1 - First Time on the Water

Learn to control the wing and board safely and fun!

Are you ready to take the first step into the world of wingfoil? This introductory course is your surefire path to learning the basic skills you need to use before being introduced to the foil. Together with our professional instructor, you will get a good and safe start, as well as a solid foundation for your further development.

• The experience of standing with a winger onwater for the first time!

Course Details

• Duration: 1 day of 3 hours
• Participants: Max 4 students at a time
• Level: Beginner— no experience needed

Program for Part 1

• Introduction to equipment and safety on the water
• Review of rules of marriage and safe conduct
• Wing training on land (steering, balance and turning technique)
• First sailing on the water with board — without foil

After the course you have the option to take part 2
If you get a taste for the sport, you can subsequently book part 2 of the course. Here you are introduced to the foil and learn to sail with it, so you can experience floating above the water.

Planning
After booking you will be contacted. After that, the course itself is coordinated with the instructor who books the participants in. Day 1 requires minimal wind, and can be held most days. Day 2 requires more wind, and therefore weather suspension. This makes it difficult to plan, and is therefore coordinated at shorter notice.
